Good Deed Summer Fruit Cobbler

Good evening wonderful people.

Today was an absolute scorcher yet I chose today to run all over town.  When I arrived back home, I parked next to a sweat drenched woman whose car wouldn’t start.  She asked me for help but, honestly, she would have been better off asking a spoon- she would have received just as useless of a response but with more finesse.  Fortunately, my super kind boyfriend put down his bar review books for a few minutes to help our new neighbor.  After a mild electric shock and a few choice French words, the woman cruised away in her functioning vehicle.  Josh completed his good deed for the day!

What was your good deed for the day?

Mine was baking this delicious cobbler!  Check out this bad boy!


It consists of peaches and plums covered in a sweet and crunch crust.  This is a whole grain, guilt-free dessert that you can feel good about.  I got the idea from Fat Free Vegan’s Plum Cobbler, although I made a few alterations.
